1. Use the Authorized Version (KJV) when quoting Scripture.
2. This board is NOT a place for the Bible version debate. If you wish to debate Bible versions, there are other boards where you can do so.
3. NO promotion of Bible versions based on the Alexandrian Text-Type (see chart -
http://www.touchet1611.org/BibleChart.pdf). This includes the NKJV (footnotes).
4. NO advertising, solicitations or spamming.
5. Do NOT post any personal information about yourself or anyone else (e.g. home address, phone number etc).
6. Always be courteous to other members (1 Peter 3:8).
7. Before creating a new topic thread, search to see if a similar topic already exists.
8. Use standard grammar and spelling rules and avoid slang (e.g. ‘u’ for ‘you’).
9. Post in the correct section.
10. Use appropriate and descriptive titles when posting a new topic.
11. Stay on-topic.
12. Avoid double posting (i.e. posting a message twice) and cross posting (i.e. posting the same message in multiple forums).
13. Avoid the use of all CAPITAL LETTERS. All CAPS is considered “shouting” and causes readability issues.
14. When quoting a previous post, only include the relevant portion of that post.
15. Avoid excessive use of large font sizes, colors and bold text.
16. Respect the authority and requests of Moderators. Any complaints should be directed by Private Message (PM) to the Admin.
17. Moderation issues are NOT to be discussed on the forum. If you have complaints or questions, send a PM to a Moderator.
18. Failure to adhere to the rules may result in a warning, suspension of your posting privileges or permanent ban.
Signature Rules
1. The maximum number of lines in a signature is 3 (at 1024x768 resolution)
2. The maximum number of links in a signature is 2
3. No commercial / non ministry links allowed in signatures
4. No images allowed in signatures
5. All existing forum rules apply to signatures
A signature is a privilege, not a right, and only continued proper use will keep them available.
