I guess my prayer actually is that if it's not where God wants me, that the job won't even be offered.

Just got back.

I think that it went very well. I was the first candidate, so it will be a bit before I hear anything. And it's a position that I would take if offered.

I got the rejection letter a few days ago. But that's fine. Heard that it wasn't the best department to work in.

Garth was right when he sang about thanking God for unanswered prayers. If it makes you feel any better I quit counting at a 1,000 reject letters when I got out of college in '82. God always sustained me and now I am looking at retirement. ;-)

Although I still get plenty of reject letters from churches. ;-)

It took me 2 1/2 years to get a job in my field after graduation. The nice thing, I like my current job well enough, so I'm not desperate to find another.
